A Playlist of Upbeat Christian Songs

If the approach of summer has you in the mood for making a playlist, I have some great suggestions for you!

It’s amazing how much music affects our emotions, and I’ve definitely felt the need for more upbeat music lately.

Since my health has worsened, I’ve found myself gravitating toward more positive songs.

Most of the links in this post are affiliate links, which means I receive a portion of sales, at no additional cost to you, if you click through and make a purchase. All recommendations are my own. Thank you for supporting my blog through your purchase!

Also, over the last couple years, I’ve become very sensitive to stimuli, which is one of the many symptoms of fibromyalgia. Unexpected noises and even the sound of conversation can quickly leave me feeling drained and unfocused. And unfortunately music, which I used to listen to all the time, often quickly becomes overwhelming to me. As the amount of time I can listen to music has dwindled, I’ve become much more choosey about what I listen to. So I’ve started compiling playlists of songs that boost my mood.

Here is my “Top 40” playlist of upbeat Christian music. I hope these songs help lift your mood too.

I’ve chosen songs that focus on praising God and celebrating who He is and who we are in Him. These are victory songs! I like rhythms that make me want to dance and lyrics that lift my eyes upwards.

You can follow the links to purchase these songs. You may also want to see if your public library offers free music downloads—that’s how I downloaded some of these songs!

You can also try Amazon Music Unlimited for a free 30-day trial. They offer tens of millions of songs so you could make one huge playlist!

I’d love to hear which of these upbeat Christian songs you enjoy most. Also, what songs would you add to the list?

Those are all great artist and performers but I did not see any CASTING CROWNS! They are my absolute favorite. Try them.

Thank you for the recommendation Sonya! You’re right, Casting Crowns would make a great addition. I realized I don’t have many of their songs so I’ll check more of their music out.
