Beautiful Books That Make Perfect Gifts
Sometimes the best part of a book is the pictures.
Today I’m sharing a collection of some of my favorite beautiful books that I love to look through. I find myself pulling them from the shelves to flip through again and again.
So if you’re looking for cozy, lovely books for yourself or someone else, here is a list of some of my favorites to get you started!
Beautiful books like these make for an easy reading experience. They’re perfect for when I’m feeling too tired to really dive into a novel or nonfiction book. Don’t get me wrong, I love a complex fantasy world or dystopian setting, but sometimes exhaustion and brain fog from chronic illness make it hard to focus.
So finding books full of gorgeous illustrations or pretty pictures are great to peruse when you’re in a flare from chronic illness. They also make great gifts for chronically ill friends.
Most of these books on my list were given to me by friends or family, so as an added bonus, they’re kind of like a hug from loved ones. (Who else here remembers who gave you a book and associates that book with them?)
These books are basically my book comfort food. (Along with fairy tales.)
