I’ve teamed up with my friend Melissa Miles, a composer and fellow blogger, to offer a contest just for our subscribers. The winner will receive a custom song made specifically for you!

I’ll be using my love of writing poetry to craft the lyrics, and Melissa will use  her talent for composing to make a recording for you!

Melissa is a composer, musician and teacher. She has a Bachelor’s in both Music Composition and Music Education, and a Master’s in Musical Theater Writing (Composition). Her current projects include writing music for two new musicals and recording strings for songs pitched to TV shows.

Melissa has been a great support for me creatively. We’ve discovered that no matter what you love to make, it helps to bounce ideas off and gain encouragement from another creative soul. I’m beyond excited to collaborate with her on this contest.
