Christmas Printables—Mason Jar Labels
Today I’m sharing a fun way to make your holiday gifts and desserts look more colorful and festive. You can use my Christmas mason jar labels for gifting desserts, labeling presents, decorating at holiday parties, and more.
I’m one of those people who loves holiday decorations, so I love the bright colors and trimmings of Christmas! One of the challenges for me though is food allergies. I wish my food was decked out for winter, but so many of the decorations that are available have dyes or ingredients I can’t eat. So my creative solution is to decorate and gift my desserts using my mason jar labels.
You may have seen my post from last year where I created similar mason jar labels for Halloween.

I’ve been wanting to use the same technique to dress up canning jars and desserts this December. As an added bonus, my canning jar labels can be used in place of nametags. I created a version with festive sayings, and another version that is blank. You can easily write in “To” and “From” and fill the jars with treats to share with family and friends.
I’ll let you know how to download the labels at the end of this post.
I love the way ice blue spices up traditional Christmas red and green. Blue is my favorite color—I’ve found it’s important to include a dash of blue in my décor, no matter the time of year, because it’s the color that makes me happiest. I hope you also enjoy this pop of color in my printables.
The wider labels fit one pint canning jars, and the narrower ones are the best fit for shorter half-pint jelly jars. The labels are easy to cut out, and in addition to the options with Christmas sayings, I’ve included blank labels in this printable, so you can customize to your heart’s content! (PS you can find another idea for using mason jars in this post.)
One of these years, my goal is to have the energy to make a bunch of jam in the summer (we have soooo many blackberries) and gift it for Christmas.
Canning jars would also make perfect containers for delivering gifts to neighbors and friends. Little ornaments or other small crafts would fit well in a jar.
How to Use Your Christmas Printables
I’ve been brainstorming, and thought up some new ideas for using these printables:
I also included additional ideas for using these printables in my Halloween printables post.
-Cut out as a gift tag—Just trim around the oval in the center of the printable, punch a hole in it, and tie it to a gift.
-Wrap around a gift—it doesn’t have to be round. Tape the edges onto the back of the gift.
-Labels for drinks—Tape to the printables to cups, and have guests write their names on them.
-Gift a snow globe—mason jar snow globes are so cute! You could wrap the tag around the jar with the recipient’s name on the printable.
-Gingerbread house kits—Wouldn’t candies and little tubes of icing look adorable in a canning jar?
I hope you enjoy these printables as we get ready to celebrate Christmas!
